DAY 51--And now for something completely different!

Had a nice cool sunny day. Followed the rail trail for most of the morning, through flat farmland. Made a few wrong turns (or missed turns), including one road closed due to a bridge out. Eventually we made it to Marine City, where we caught a small ferry across the St. Clair River to CANADA! There were only 5 cars on the ferry, plus us, so getting through customs was quick and easy. They did, however, confiscate our pepper spray, as it is forbidden in Canada. When we asked what we should do about dogs chasing us, we were told that the dogs in Canada are pretty friendly. OK then. (Note: To this point we have not had to use the pepper spray.)
We continued along a bike path right next to the river. Saw herons and two groups of swans.
We originally rode to the wrong campground, based on some poor directions, so added a few more miles to get to the correct campground, near a lake in Wallaceburg. We were bushed by the time we got there.
