DAY 38--Little Falls Redo

Just to be fair, we had Steve drive us back to where he had picked us up yesterday, so we could continue from where we left off. In spite of yesterday's weather, it was once again beautiful riding today, although with a stiff headwind. There was a lot of water in low-lying areas, the creeks were running high, and at one place the road was flooded. We had quite a few good views of the Mississippi River. When we arrived back at Little Falls, where we had stayed overnight, we located a bakery and indulged in some honeymoons (similar to doughnuts with the centers filled with custard and fresh strawberries).
Along our route today we saw wild turkeys. As we rode into town I got stung by a bee. :(
We stopped at a garage sale and picked up some fuzzy dice for Steve to hang in the van. We rode through St. Cloud, which was at times scary due to road conditions and traffic, and camped at a site just east of town.
