DAY 23--More Montana

Montana is a LARGE state--the 4th largest by area after Alaska, Texas, and California. Seems like we have been traversing Montana for a long time!
Today we set off on a road that was closed due to a bridge needing repair. but as usual that didn't stop us. Rode into Frosythe where we met the reporter that interviewed us yesterday. She had offered to buy us pie and wanted to take our picture for her article. We were happy to oblige.

This area of Montana has been described as "flat and featureless" but we found a number of long sweeping hills, and features in the distance. We were mostly still following the Yellowstone River.

When we reached Miles City, we stopped at a nice, small art museum, housed in what used to be a waterworks building. The museum had a lot of works from local artists--many cows, horses, and cowboys.

On our way to the campground we took a wrong turn and ended up at Dairy Queen. When we reached the campground outside of town, it was very pleasant. Camped next to us were two sisters, one from France and the other originally from France now living in Canada. We had a very nice visit with them.
